Camera geometry, synchronized recording and the capture stage formed the system used to record actors as moving three-dimensional performances for the film’s virtual scenes.

Its 2015–16 archive follows lens and sensor testing, camera spacing, mechanical layouts and working assemblies, showing how optical geometry shaped the hardware from the earliest prototypes.
