AI upscaling and frame interpolation
We used AI upscaling and frame interpolation to prepare the imagery for the dome’s large projected surface and motion playback.
A film that surrounds the audience. A dancer who steps into the room.
Metamorphosis combines 360° cinema and live dance at The Dome. Beginning underwater, it follows a figure through a changing world on screen before bringing the performance into the theatre.
We produced Metamorphosis in house as original VCS intellectual property. Created, directed and choreographed by Stefanie Noll, and starring Alyssa Allen, it premiered in Vancouver on 23 October 2026.

The production combines image preparation, GPU rendering and full-scale presentation in a live venue.

NVIDIA GPUs were used for rendering and dome-screen output. The finished imagery surrounds the audience while the live performance takes place in the same room.
Metamorphosis is an in-house original production developed as company-owned IP. It gives our team a complete work to develop, present and refine, from image processing to the audience experience.
The projected performance and the performer share the same theatre. Metamorphosis was created for this setting, with the surrounding image forming part of the work.
The venue and its technical systemsDiscuss immersive display technology and original spatial-media applications.
